PHCC Update

Last Sunday Pastor Dan presented the 3rd “basic” of relationships: COMPATIBILITY.  If you weren’t there and are dating or thinking of dating or are married I HIGHLY encourage you to check out the sermon on the website click here.  There were many practical and Biblical ideas that will help you.  If you are dating someone or are married you could listen to this sermon for a date!  I can’t think of a better time investment you can make to help something as important as spending your life with someone.

This Sunday will be an exciting and a “first-ever” Sunday.  This will be our first ever INTERNATIONAL SUNDAY at Prairie Heights.  We will have a guest speaker who is a pastor in Winnipeg who is originally from India.  We have an exciting announcement to make regarding a grass-roots initiative called “Iglesia de la Communidad Alturas de la Pradera”.  If you can understand what I just wrote it is very possible God wants you to be a part of the grass-roots!

This morning Pastor Dan and I received an email that included this “Thank You for all you and the staff at Prairie Heights do for the F-M area. It is amazing to me how the Lord has blessed PHCC in the increase of the number of people that attend every time I get back to town and also the messages given through you and Pastor Jon. The guidance and direction that PHCC gave me during my college years was life changing and I cannot Thank You enough for it.”   While his thanks were emailed to Dan and me this is happening because God is using your gifts and ministry to impact many more people than we are even aware of.  Neither Dan nor I had ever met this young man before Sunday but he told us he came to PHCC during college and now comes back to town every so often.

Psalm 61:4-5  “I long to dwell in your tent forever and take refuge in the shelter of your wings.  For you have heard my vows, O God; you have given me the heritage of those who fear your name.”  The reason I wholeheartedly invite others to give financially and to serve in ministry is because our opportunity for a rich heritage is CHANGED LIVES.  And someday in heaven we will realize how our ministry together truly impacted this world.  Now that will be the party of all parties!!!

See you on Sunday!

Jon Hauser, Pastor
