PHCC Update

There is incredible power in visionary living!  God has a plan to reach the entire world and it involves obedient ambassadors (2 Corinthians 5:21) who represent God in every neighborhood, family, office, construction site, hospital, class room, and setting in the world!  I shared 2 blindfolds that keep us from seeing the vast vision God has for us.  One blindfold is CPR living (controlling my turf, protecting myself from discomfort, relying only on myself) and the other blindfold is Past Pictures.  One of satan’s biggest tricks is to dominate our minds and thoughts with past failure, past put-downs, past comparisons, and past sin.  He tempts us to believe that the future holds no promise or potential.  He is wrong!  As Itzhak Perlman said after playing an entire concert with only 3 out of 4 strings on his violin, “Sometimes it is the artist’s task, when some things are gone, to find out how much music you can still make with what you have left.” We have the opportunity to surrender our lives to a Master Artist, Jesus Christ.  His invitation is for us to see how much music He can make with what we have left!  I am in on that deal!

Are you passionately pursuing the vast vision God has for your life?  If not, why not start today?  Ask God to reveal the blindfolds that are blocking your vision.  Believe Jesus loves you, died for you, and He longs to touch your world through you.  Commit to following Christ’s leadership, humbly and faithfully, each day.  It is a great journey of growth, discovery, and impact.

This Sunday I am going to look at the Power of Salvation.  If God has saved you, I would love to hear the difference it makes in your daily life.  I may use some of these in the sermon this Sunday.
