In our current unit, “Dr. Tomorrow’s Robot Repair Shop” we are learning to associate different parts of our bodies with a biblical truth. This week we learned that our ears should remind us to listen to what God is saying! Our main point is, “I will take time to listen to God!” Proverbs 16:20 tells us “those who listen to instruction will prosper; those who trust the Lord will be joyful.” As Easter approaches, what a great promise that those who listen and trust God will be joyful. We have a great reason to be joyful; that Jesus died so we could have life to the full! As a family talk about the benefits of listening to our parents, teachers, and God. When we become good listeners we can experience GREAT relationships in our life. How are you doing at listening to what God is saying?

This Easter Sunday, April 4, is going to be an exciting day at Prairie Heights as we throw a party for our risen Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! ALL children who participate in Kidventure (birth through 5th grade) this Sunday will be receiving a special Easter gift! Don’t forget to invite a friend using this invitation. You won’t want to miss it!!
I want to thank all of you parents who made it a priority to have your children singing in service this past Sunday, March 28. What an AWESOME job they did! We had about 60 kids sing in each service and they all did such a great job. My prayer is that Kidventure becomes more than another program or activity for your children, but that it becomes something that supports and encourages your family. On Sunday we broke another Kidventure record by registering 156 children for their classes! That number represents individual children and families that we have the opportunity to serve, encourage and invest in every week. Thank you parents for making Kidventure a priority in your families.
Have a great week! See you on Easter Sunday!
