Did you know experts say that when neighbors look out for each other it creates a friendlier, safer place to live?
What I think is cool is that Romans 13:8 says, “Let love be your only debt! If you love others, you have done all that the Law demands.” By getting to know our neighbors we not only can create a safer place to live for our families, but it gives us a chance to love other people as Christ would. You never know when your smile or word of encouragement will bring a ray of hope into someone’s life! It may open up a chance to invite them to Prairie Heights. “I Worship God When I Pray!!” Have you heard that from your kids yet? This past Sunday our kids learned one way we worship God is by praying to him. Praying is more of a conversation than a list of requests we present to God and should also include listening on our part. Psalm 46:10 puts it this way, “Be still, and know that I am God!” I challenge you, take some time each day this week to pray as a family for each other and your neighbors! Check out these devotionals to review with your kids this week:
Have a GREAT week! See you Sunday as we learn how to worship God through serving Him!
