July 11 Parent Connection

Artos Choir from Alabama

Hello Kidventure Parents and Families,

In Kidventure on Sunday morning we had some special guests with us from Heritage Baptist Church in Montgomery, Alabama. They are a group of middle and high school students called Artos that travel and share the news of Jesus through music, drama, dance, and rhythm routines. The kids absolutely loved it! We learned about the importance of obeying God in our lives. God has a great plan for each one of us  to give us hope and a future. God wants us to reach our full potential with Him so we must be willing to obey God and follow His plan. Thanks so much Artos!!!

This Sunday July 18th join us at the Red River Zoo (4255 23rd Ave. S., Fargo) for church at 11:00am! Make it a family day at the zoo with free admission, free carousel rides ONLY BEFORE church from 10:00am-11:00am, and a GREAT service at 11:00am. After service feel free to explore the zoo with your whole family! It will be yet another great opportunity for you to invite some friends to join you!

In our Elementary program (Kindergarten through 5th grade) we have something called “Treasure Chest.” Children earn coins during Kidventure by bringing their bibles, participating, and being good listeners. The first Sunday of the month we put out prizes where children can spend the coins they have earned. We call this Treasure Chest Sunday. Our next Treasure Chest Sunday will be Sunday August 1st after Kidventure.

There is a lot happening in the community and around Prairie Heights which can make it difficult to keep up on what’s happening. So we have designed our website to help families keep up to date with information about family-friendly events and other fun things happening at Prairie Heights and around the community. We have created an Events page on the Prairie Heights website to help you keep up to date with current events happening throughout the community. From our homepage just click on “Events”. Stop by every once in a while to keep up with what’s happening!

Have a great week!
