Hi, Parents!

In preschool this week, we kicked off the new year by learning about how much Jesus loves us. No matter what we’re doing, where we are, or even who we are, Jesus still loves us. I think that is something that is easy to forget. It’s understandable that God loves us when we’re good and we’re doing great things. But, when we sin, it’s hard to comprehend why God would still love us just as much. Why would a just and holy God love a sinful person like me? However, that’s when we need to remember Ephesians 3:17-19: “…And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.” We can’t know why or how much God loves us, but I’m OK with that. Because if we did know, that would mean that there’s an end to God’s love. So, start this year off by remembering that no matter who you are, where you are, what you’ve done, God still loves you a lot.

The preschoolers are about to get their jingle on Sunday, January 30th during both services! We encourage all parents to have their preschoolers (3-5 year olds) join us for BOTH services on Sunday, January 30th as the preschoolers perform a bell choir song for the adults. They’re going to practice, practice, practice during class for the entire month of January! Make sure your preschooler is at church every Sunday morning so they can do their best when they ring those bells for you!

Family Fun: We just got done with a whole slew of holidays, but did you know that Thursday is Cuddle Up Day? Grab some blankets and pillows, maybe a mug of hot chocolate or tea, and cuddle up with your family and watch a movie or play a game. You’ll not only be having fun and relaxing, you’ll also be making great memories! What’s better than that?
