In preschool (3-5 years), we learned all about how important it is to tell others about Jesus. John the Baptist committed his whole life to telling others about Jesus; we should do the same. This doesn’t mean we need to dress in camel fur, eat locusts, and live in the desert, but we should still tell the people around us. Whether it’s people we work with, friends we see at school, or even people we see every day, they need to know about God’s love just as much as we do.
The preschoolers are about to get their jingle on! Sunday, January 30th, all the preschoolers will be performing a bell choir song for the adults. Until then, they’re going to practice, practice, practice! So, make sure your preschooler is at church every Sunday morning so they can do their best when they ring those bells for you!
Family Fun: This Wednesday, January 19th is National Popcorn Day! So, take some time to make a fun popcorn recipe with your family. Whip up some popcorn balls, try stove top popcorn instead of microwave, or check out this delicious recipe for Cinnamon Sugar popcorn: http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Cinnamon-Sugar-Popcorn/Detail.aspx. You can even play a fun game as you eat it: for each handful of popcorn, you must share one exciting thing you did that day/week.
